I'm the hidden member of the band.  I'm the one you don't see, you don't know about, but I'm there.  Without me, you hear nothing.  I am the Sound Goddess, the Sound Maven, the Master of the Board, and Keeper of Sanity.

I grew up with music in one form or another.  My grandfather showed me musicals of all sorts when I was little.  I would hear English pub songs at family gatherings.  My mom listened to Country and Oldies, and my dad listed to Classic and Acid Rock.  I played the flute through middle school.  High School came Marching Band (where I played flute and piccolo), Concert Band (where I played flute and bassoon), Flute Choir, Drama, and finally, when I got the courage, Chorus my senior year.  I did lots during high school.  I made it to All-County Chorus that year, something I hadn't been able to do with my flute the past 3 years.  I assistant directed the school musical, and I ran sound for the last play/musical of the year (my final for high school).

Now, I must admit, at first, BJ was the man.  He helped me (and still does from time to time) through some tough sound times.  He was the first Sound Man.  Now that he's on the bass, the board is all mine.  I get to play, to mix, to put everyone in their place.  It takes an ear, two actually.  Two good ears, and a sense of where everything fits, to do what I do.  And it's not easy, let me tell you.  But with my music foundation, sense of rhythm, and fear of singing alone, in front of people, I'm perfect for sound.  Leave me alone at my board and I'm happy.

Along with that, I'm also a Libra (one of the 4 air signs in the band), poet and Lover of Animals.  I sing with other people (and take the occasional voice lesson), pound on the drums, play the flute, I've taken bass lessons (I'm no match for BJ), and have an odd collection of music.  What more do you need?
